Grade One Listed Smallholding

Full rebuild of two animal sheds, two diary buildings and two large barns with a requirement to be an ultra-low carbon consumer.  GPowerUK created a bespoke 86kW renewable energy and DC storage solution, complete with multiple EV charging stations and a smart energy monitoring and management system.

Marine Energy Management

Ocean Village is a mixed-use marina, residential, business and leisure development on the mouth of the River Itchen in Southampton and moors some of the most luxurious vessels in the world. GPowerUK helped the MDL Marina Group understand power consumption and generation for the administrative services. Insights, statics and recommendations provided allowed energy consumption to be reduced and solar generation to be increased.

Reducing Export through Smart Control

Plantation House is part of the Buscot Park Estate located in Oxfordshire.  GPowerUK designed and implemented a solution to control and manage three 3-Phase Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) to maximize use of renewable energy from the legacy 35kW solar system, thus reducing export to the grid. This included the deployment of a fibre optic network.

Converted Farm Complex Storage & Back Up Power

Haycroft Farm is home to four residential buildings complete with swimming pool and gym facilities. Following detailed energy monitoring GPowerUK were able to recommend and supply an AC Energy Storage Solution complete with back-up solution, to ensure energy continuity during power outages, ensuring efficient and effective use of the energy generated from the legacy solar installation.

Agricultural Data Monitoring

Fennington Farm, Taunton, wanted to understand their energy consumption on a granular level. GPowerUK designed and installed Wi-Fi smart meters that captured, stored data and made it available via an on-line portal to enable detailed analysis.

Commercial Data Monitoring

Cotswolds Bakery, known for its award-winning bread, wanted to understand their consumption and energy loads across two large business units. GPowerUK deployed a comprehensive monitoring solution to provide key insights. The data is being used to design a renewable generation and DC storage solution that will allow the Bakery to operate “off grid” throughout the night.

Industrial Data Monitoring

A Technology Installation Company based in an industrial unit in Reading wanted to know their energy consumption split across the whole site to support their Green Agenda. GPowerUK designed and implement a monitoring solution, connected to the internet via 4G interface collecting and storing consumption across the three and single-phase energy infrastructure, including a mission critical operational data centre.

Multi-site Data Monitoring

Large residential on the Isle of Wight required an energy centre to fully understand consumption across multiple buildings. We were able to provide a comprehensive system to enable granular monitoring.

Marina Consumption Monitoring

Saul Junction Marina, located in the Cotswold’s, has dedicated brokerage, showers, toilets, fuel provision and pump out services for 284 moorings. GPowerUK helped Lakeland Leisure understand the sites annual consumption of over 485mW providing insights for services throughout the marina including individual mooring consumption.

Residential Solar and Battery

Five-bedroom detached house, located in Salisbury, totally reliant electricity required a renewable solution complete with back-up power.  GPowerUK design and installed a 5.5kW solar and 11.6kW battery complete with an Emergency Power Supply (EPS) facility.

Dairy Farming Energy Consumption

A 650-cow dairy farm, located in Taunton, producing 28.5 million litres of milk a year, wanted to understand when and where energy was being utilised. GPowerUK supplied a monitoring solution which helped identify and manage an average monthly consumption of over 27mWh.
